Three Weeks with My Brother, by Nicholas and Micah Sparks
This book is very interesting! It isn't a romance like other Nicholas Sparks novels, it is a memoir of his life. The book is written in a fashion that jumps back and forth from this trip around the world he took with his brother and stories from his childhood all the way up to his present life. I was amazed to read some of these tales he shares of his life. His life is definitely worth reading about. Some events that he wrote about are similar to books that he has written. It is interesting to hear about the real story and how it gave him the idea to write a book about that event. I found myself frequently laughing while reading this book, and sometimes wanting to cry. After a while I got kind of bored reading about all of the places they went on their three week trip but it was still interesting, I just couldn't wait for him to start telling about his childhood again. It is one of those books that make you feel refreshed after reading, like you figured out where a piece of the puzzle to life fits. Reading about these two brothers being there for each other and being able to reminisce about all of these stages in their lives made me wish I had a sibling. It is a great book for a leisure read. :)

Hey Kelly~! Your review makes me want to read the book. I always love the stories about traveling. Also I enjoy reading funny stories. Since it made you laugh on some events, probably I will enjoy the book too. I heard about Nicholas Sparks but I never got a chance to read his books. From this opportunity, I might buy his books and actually read it. Nowadays I got really lazy and got bored with the books that I am reading right now so this is great chance to read a interesting book. Thank you for your recommendation.
This book seems like something I would enjoy to pick up and read.I have read two of his other books and of course I loved them. I think it is strange how most of his books are said to be about romance, but his life story, as you commented is about traveling and his relationship between his brother and him. Was he inspired to write romances by observing others, or does he have his own personal romance experiences? His stories seem to be impractical;more outside the box, so I figure it is from the knowledge he gained through those three weeks with his brother. Nicholas Sparks books are ones that are hard to put down, so I can't wait to read it.
I have been waiting to read this book for a while but I wasn't really sure to expect. I am in the process of reading The Guardian and that will complete all of his collection for me. (Besides this one) I can't wait to read it especially since your review was a good one about it. Thanks a bunch and I hope you enjoy The Perks it is hilarious. :)))
Now I’m interested in reading this book. I am a fan of Nicholas Sparks's books, so his memoir is probably worth reading. Which books are similar to his life? I share quite a few of his books with my sister, and I'm surprised I’ve never heard of this book. But you've definitely made it sound very interesting. Is a majority of the book about their trip around the world, or is it more about their childhood? Since I just finished reading my book maybe I’ll start reading this if I don't read Brittanie’s book. Thanks for your recommendation. ;-D
I haven’t read a Nicolas Sparks novel, but if I did I would probably find it very interesting to read about some of the places he gets his inspiration. I always enjoy hearing about sibling relationships since I too don’t have any. I hope that those who do learn to appreciate them like the brothers in this book. From your post it seems like the piece of the puzzle you’re talking about is about compassion and love, which makes me want to read this book.
